Murder on Denial

Age Level: Middle Grades to High School
Cast: 5F, 3M
Time: 25 minutes

Fun for all in this parody take-off on TV’s Judge Judy. The star of this courtroom reality TV show called “Denial” is Judge Snooty. She says she can always tell who’s lying. Evidence means nothing to her. She uses her psychic powers to get to the truth. They’re taping an episode of "Denial" to decide who of three suspects is guilty of theft: Max Mushmelon, Paula Magill, and Mabel Periwinkle. But during the TV trial the plaintiff actually dies of poisoning. Who did it? It is Judge Judy herself who tries to hide a blackmail scheme, but the TV bailiff finds the key to the blackmail money in Judge Snooty"s pocket. She tries to escape but the show’s actors become the law. Courtroom trials are always fun to stage, but this TV trial show is even more fun to do.
