A very theatrical, yet easy-to-do adaptation of a classic tale. The actors perform as both characters in the play action and narrator/commentators as the play proceeds. This device simplifies and transforms a literary story into a fast-moving, comedy play. Only one set is required. Actors carry props in and out as needed for scene changes. Even the climax scene with the "headless horseman" is made manageable in a most dramatic way. A play that is fun for performers and audience alike.
