Hamelot

Age Level: Middle Grades to High School
Cast: 11F, 10M, 3 optional
Time: 60 minutes, 2 acts

Hamelot is anything but a peaceful cowboy town. The gunslingers have taken over. Six Foot Freddie and Five Foot Phil blast each other dead because of the evil plotting of the town’s two sister bankers. They conspire to get almost everyone shot to foreclose on their property. But a town legend offers hope for the future. Law and order will return to Hamelot when someone pulls the famed X-caliber rifle from the stone. Artie does it! He becomes Sheriff and brings peace back to the town. But soon the gun-fighting resumes when false testimony from Billy, Lily, Milly and Tilly leads Artie to the hanging tree. But a schoolmarm’s savvy saves Artie from the noose. The conspirators are skedaddled. Once again Hamelot becomes the peaceful paradise it was meant to be.
