Bill Lynn, actor and comedy writer, studied in the professional actor training program at the University of Illinois, Urbana/Champaign. He became a company member of The Great American People Show, the theatre at Lincoln’s New Salem in Illinois, performing award-winning plays drawn from American history. As a company member of The Blind Parrot theatre in Chicago, he performed in and co-wrote the original works, Portrait of a Living Newspaper and Dedo, The Life of Amadeo Modigliani. After several years as a technical writer and corporate trainer, he moved to Los Angeles and wrote and performed in student sketch shows at The Second City L.A. and The Groundlings. He appeared in guest spots on Nickelodeon’s Amanda Show, and in a variety of independent short films and television commercials. He worked as a comedy writer for an independent Hollywood-based marketing firm, and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA).
