Jan Peterson Ewen has been a professional singer, actor, and director for over thirty years. She has served as Founder and Artistic Director for Western Washington Center for the Arts in Port Orchard, Washington for the past eleven years, directing over sixty musicals and plays. She has developed musical theatre workshops for kids that have seen hundreds of children thrive and develop by learning the theatrical process.

Jan loves working with singers and actors of all ages and particularly has a heart for those who long to sing and act but lack the confidence to discover their talents. In order to reach as many students as possible, she has expanded her teaching to include a website called SING-NATURALLY.com which focuses on encouraging and developing fledgling singers and performers.

Jan lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with her talented musician husband, Bruce Ewen. She has three adult children, Peter, Rebecca, and Rachel, whose love of music and theatre brings her immense joy. This is the third book of scenes Jan has published.
