Writer's Guidelines

Pioneer Drama Service is a leading publisher of musicals, plays and theatre-related books and DVDs. Our primary markets are upper elementary and secondary schools, homeschools, theatre schools, community theatres and both religious and secular community groups. Meriwether Publishing is the book and DVD publishing division of Pioneer Drama.

• Our texts and aids cover a wide variety of theatrical subjects from play anthologies to theatrecraft. We publish titles monologs, duologs, short scenes, acting textbooks, speech and theatre textbooks, improvisation guides, theatre games and much more.
• Send sample chapters or an outline — no complete manuscripts.

• Include a synopsis or brief statement of objectives.
• Tell us why you believe your work deserves publication. Define the market you see as the potential audience.
• Please include a list of your publishing credits and/or experience and your payment expectations.
• Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for our response.
